2012's biggest surf, skate and music festival returns for one of the greatest culminations of music and sport the Cornish coastline has ever witnessed!

BOARDMASTERS 2012

Men's surfing has been upgraded to a 6 Star ASP World Surfing Series - that's one star from becoming a prime event. We are also pleased to introduce 2012 3 Star men's and ladies Longboard comps and an almighty 10 stages of live music featuring over 100 bands!

2012 celebrates the 31th anniversary of the Boardmasters surfing competition. Newquay has witnessed the World’s very best surfers over the years. From Carroll to Curren and Fanning to Slater all the greats have graced Fistral Beach. 

The 2012 Vans Summer Sessions consist of Vert Skate (2 categories) and BMX midi ramp competitions, representing some of the highest quality you will witness in the UK and Europe. 

The 2012 Vans Summer Sessions Vert Skate Events include pro and under 16 events. Nowhere in the UK will you see a higher standard of vert skating. Skaters from around the World will make the journey to Newquay to make a claim on the £10,000 prize purse.
