  Surf		 The surf at Towan is always the smallest of Newquays beaches, hence is prefferred by beginners and is usually quite crowded. Waves break left of harbour wall on big swells and there is occasioally a right in front of the island.

Facilities		 Toilets, Beach Life Guards, Shops nearby, parking in town.

  Vibe		 Usually quite friendly, but watch out for collisions and the harbour seals!
