Martial arts school offering traditional chinese arts instruction in Lau Gar, Wing Chun, Chinese Kickboxing and Tai Chi Chuan.

Chief instructor, Bob Denny 7th degree teaches with a friendly relaxed approach steadily building stamina and fitness. Lau Gar is a long to medium range style based on Shaolin disciplines, Wing Chun is a short close range style useful if backed into a corner. Chinese kickboxing also known as San Shou, is similar to American kickboxing but allows low kicks together with long forgotten lethal techniques now prohibited in the ring.

Certified by Dr Paul Lam, the Tai Chi helps improve mobility and well being. Chen and Yang styles are also taught alongside the Sun TCA programme. Bob also runs seminars showing various applications to the styles, take downs and counters, plus squad training for those who wish it. Classes are operated from the Scout Hall on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 7-8pm for beginners and Tai Chi is available 5-6pm Sundays.

Men, women and children of all ages and abilities are most welcome.
